  8.5 Teacher Certification Professional Program

  • eduKaytion Golf has created a unique, intense training program built on Golf 8.5 from Kay's 30 years of experience.

  • We are seeking self motivated individuals who want to bring their teaching skills to the next level.

  • We are looking for individuals who are interested in teaching and specifically teaching and learning Golf 8.5. Maybe any one interested and may include coaches and/or LPGA/PGA Golf Professionals at any level.

  • Also for any interested Golf Professionals in hosting Golf 8.5 workshops at their facilities.

Certification programs are designed around each individual and one on one with Kay. Evaluations and testing complete the certification process over a one year period. Support materials, marketing, and personal consultation will be available year long. 

Pre-Certification Requirements

  • Must have a golf experience or knowledge

  • Must submit and application and resume

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • Pre-acceptance interview before being admitted into the program

 

 

 

 

 
 8.5 Training

8.5 Training

Level I - Certification Program Includes:

  • Attend minimum of 4 - one (or two day) Golf 8.5 workshops that Kay conducts for the general public.

  • Lesson Observation - (minimum) 8 hours of lesson observation.

  • 8 hours of classroom - One-to-One with Kay to include:

  • Teaching Methods, Sales, Marketing, Video techniques, Safety, Learning styles, Single and Group lessons, etc.

  • Individual Lessons to be given - 3 to 6 - (ea. 45 minutes lessons)

  • Lesson will be observed, video taped and observed

    1. Each lesson will be evaluated (1 hour of evaluation per lesson)

  • Workbook will involve approximately 15 to 20 hours of work at home

    • Completion will be required (online)

  • Final Certification - needs to be a Pass in the following:

  • Written Test

    1. Evaluation of lessons

Approximate time commitment and value:

  • Learning time with Kay on site - 35 - 45 hours (over year)

    1. At home - 15 - 20 hrs.

    2. Could be completed over a four month to 12 month period

    3. Value of over $3500 of lessons and learning time with Kay

Certification Benefits:

  • Listed on eduKaytion Golf and Golf 8.5 website as a Certified 8.5 Instructor

  • Referenced in all of eduKaytion marketing campaigns

  • Use of licensed trademarked Golf 8.5 Logo in all material

  • Follow up consultations on marketing

  • 12 personal consultations per year regarding lessons

Includes Face time calls or video analysis

  • Renewal recertification and review - 8.5 Instructor Membership - $300

Level I - First Year Fee = $1395

LPGA/PGA or Coaches = $1095 (with credentials & appropriate experience)
